On our second night, after midnight and several hours of sleep, I woke up to yelling (my roommate and the man)and a man in our room. I screamed and the man raced out. I could not get any answer when I tried reception, but got through to housekeeping. They apologized and said a bellboy had entered the wrong room, trying to deliver a hair dryer. Needless to say, we had security concerns about the property, and slept remaining nights with furniture piled in front of the door. The management said they have discussed the issue with staff, and a formal reprimand was issued. No compensation for our scare was offered. Lovely property but would not recommend it for security reasons

This was such a convenient hotel for such a good price. The bus is right outside so it’s only like a 10 minute ride into Venice where you can spend the rest of your time exploring. The hotel offers bus/water bus tickets so you don’t have to worry about dealing with that. The staff was very friendly, found good conversation while grabbing a drink at the bar or having a quick bite in the restaurant. Would stay here again!

My room was in a low floor (2nd floor) and there were structures blocking the view so I could not see outside at all. It could be the worst room in the building so I did not get an upgrade or enjoy any benefit as an Expedia Good Customer. But room is quiet and roomy, clean. One of the Asian female and a tall guy at front desk were extremely helpful.
