Someone entered my room in the middle of the night. Apparently the door didn’t lock properly. I took my complaint to the innkeeper and she basically said I was lying. Then I found the person who entered because she wouldn’t even attempt to and brought him to her and then she said it was my fault for not deadbolting the door. Completely bad experience. First time in my life at 76 years old. Never will I stay there or recommend the hotel again. I’m requesting a complete refund. This could have had a very bad outcome by a nefarious individual.

Overnight VCE hotel

This property is obviously used for transit purposes located as it is near the VCE airport. The free transportation from the airport is a great benefit but guests must provide taxi service to return to the airport or walk as it is relatively close. The hotel is great for an overnight before traveling the next day. The bedding looks fabulous but actually is very heavy and uncomfortable. Our only real complaint was no coffee available in the morning. Even in the reception area would have been wonderful. The restaurant across the street - the best food the whole 2 weeks in Italy and Croatia.

The property is VERY close to the airport. I would have walked but had heavy luggage. The apartment was clean and the host was very friendly and accommodating. She helped me book a taxi for the morning ride to the airport and made sure to greet me when I arrived. It's on a busy road and there are only a few restaurants nearby, but it's a great place to stay for a modest price if you want to be close to the airport for an early morning flight. I was happy to have stayed there.

Parking on-site. Small two storey elevator very good for heavy luggage. 14min walk to airport, albeit mostly along roads with no sidewalk. Situated along #5 bus route to Venice with drop off stop within 15-20 min walk. Neat, tidy, A/C, secure, clean spot, proximal to Marco Polo airport.

The staff were very helpful and arranged a 3.30 am tax I for us to the airport and also had a good restaurant recommendation that was close by. The Bella Onda is very convenient to the airport- we even walked back from returning our rental car. My only suggestion would be to make the keypad easier to read on the room doors.

Stayed 1 night after a trip to Cortina area. Love the location near the airport. Shuttle service had limited hours of operation (2pm to 7pm,I believe, and only airport to hotel). Easy to arrange and pickup was very smooth. Staff was very helpful to explain bus 5 goes to Piazzela Roma for €1.5(each way). Bus stop is only 50m away; very convenient and priced right. Decent/safe outdoor cafe across the street for a night cap. Staff also made transfer arrangements for us for an early morning return to VCE. Rooms were very recently and tastefully remodeled. Very nice. Always felt safe. Great room. Great value. Great staff.
