I absolutely loved this hotel and room. Could be my favorite hotel in the world. Just adorable lobby and room. We didn’t eat in the dining room because of our schedule but it looked great too.

Amazing breakfast on the terrace! The location is so central and next to everything, easy to find, but not on Rialto so you skip the massive crowds. We loved our stay!

The Hotel is older and could some updating. The air conditioner did not work properly. we were told it was an old unit and that there was not much they could do. The bathroom floor and around the shower did not look clean. We called down to the the front desk and told them our concerns.( they did not even come in our room to look at our concerns) They came to our room and told us they had 1 more room left. We went up to the 6 floor to check out the room and yes, it was better. But, the shower head had a towel wrapped around it. we found out why when we showered. The water squirted in every different direction Causing water to go everywhere. For the money we paid, I would definitely go somewhere else.

Hotel is in a fantastic position for exploring Venice on foot, but easy to navigate from identifiable areas. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Some areas starting to show a bit of wear and tear. The only real downside of the room was the shower. Poor positioning and couldn’t get it to spray in the right direction at all. Ended up having to hold it. We had a room that had a connecting door (locked) but could hear a lot from the neighbouring room through this. That said, would stay here again without question.

Location was ideal. Breakfast buffet was a bargain for the hotel guests. Front desk staff were there to answer all our questions about directions, places to go and transportation. Carmen gave us a recommendation to go to Murano with free transportation. The glass factory tour was a highlight. We also went to Burano. Because of Gioia’s suggestion, we had a relaxing afternoon at the beach on Lido. A beautiful hotel!

Our bedroom looked out upon one of the smaller canals that was active during the daytime it relatively quiet at night and the early morning. Our room was a private residence a few steps from the main hotel. It was quite spacious and luxurious. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. Our only complaint is that the shower was a bit wonky- it would be too hot one second and then too cold the next. Yet, overall this is a great choice and we appreciate you Bonvecchaiti staff!

Perfect location, between Rialto and San Marco. Ideal for visiting Venice sights. Lovely situation by canal, and outdoor court restaurant. Character hotel, and good value, although the room itself was tired. Strongly recommend.

The staff was amazing, from cleaners, to porters, restaurant workers, and especially front desk staff, they made me feel like I was their only guest, Roberta gave me directions to my train and booked a last minute ticket as the original route I had planned was fully booked, Roberta really saved the day, as I could never have navigated the Italian website. I was extremely happy with my stay!
