As always, we enjoyed the spaciousness of the room. There was a shower instead of the tub I was expecting, but everything else was great. The yogurt was very runny, but everything else at the breakfast bar was good.

Fantastic location. Room is clean. Bathroom is quite a bit dated. There’s a smell of bathroom cleaning products when we entered the room. The beds are comfortable. It’s also very quiet during the night despite the location.

The Best Western Plus Hotel Bologna is a fine place to stay for a night or two if in Mestre or preferring not to stray in Venice. The hotel is very conveniently located directly across from the Mestre train station entrance. There are some dining options in the area. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but very basic and spartan. It's a fine option if really caring about a clean, safe, convenient hotel location and not needing extra amenities.
