This was our second visit to Venice and to this special “hotel”. If you want the feel of the typical US hotel, do not stay here. If you want a unique, historical place, stay here!

Room was spacious and clean. No elevator so luggage needs to be maneuvered via stairway. Location was fine for us as an active, mobile couple. Six minute walk to San Marco Square. Six minute walk from Rialto ferry dock. Only slightly farther to Academia bridge.

The location was fantastic, it was all virtual, but worked well, really enjoyed staying there, the room was fantastic, location on the canal was great for a gondola ride right at your doorstep, the only thing it was a bit noisy in the mornings with the delivery boats right outside the window, but if you are an early riser then it is not a problem. Happily stay here again
