Basic accommodation, wonderful all the same. Great views of the Atlantic Ocean and Pico Island. Walking trail along the ocean nearby. People are very friendly.

10 stars all-around! One of the best places I've stayed in Azores if not the best. The bungalows are nicely put together with natural materials. Generally basic, but has absolutely everything you need. I wouldn't change anything about the bungalows. We had the one nearest the ocean but they all must have great views as the only thing between the property and the sea is a steep cliff. Bed was very comfortable. Small radiator for rainy days. Very private. Great sunrises and sunsets.

A great base for hiking, toddler-friendly

Sao Jorge farm & bungalow was a fantastic find. The bungalow we stayed in was modern, private, and very clean. Had an amazing view of the ocean, with a private balcony. They accommodated our toddler with a crib, and he was entertained by the turkeys/chickens on the farm. The hosts were attentive, thoughtful and very helpful. They shuttled us & our car to a one-way hike - we drove our car to the end, then they dropped us off at the beginning of our hike. We had a ferry delay and stayed an extra night. There was no availability on the farm, but they found us a place to stay nearby. Highly recommend for your stay on Sao Jorge!

Hands down the best property that I have ever stayed at. I travel quite often and have had some amazing experiences at hotels, but the staff, amenities, and value make this property the best. Location was ideal to be able to get around to other attractions and close to the airport and ferry terminals. Waking up to the view of Pico mountain and the Atlantic Ocean was priceless. #2 The staff: Philippe was the owner of this property and exceeded every expectation. We were allowed to check in early, we had fresh bread with jam and São Jorge cheese in the mornings delivered, and he also went out of his way to help us get a rental car. Gave us great recommendations for places to eat and shop. Philippe has a heart of gold and makes all his guests feel like family. 3. Great value, honestly this place is a great value. For the view and the service you get. The bungalows will always be one of my favorite places to stay and I will make sure to return. Honestly, don’t have any doubts about staying here. It’s the best property you can get!!

Wood and glass bungalows with a terrace and an amazing view of the ocean and Pico. Everything is quite basic but well maintained. There is a fully equipped kitchen so one can prepare a simple meal or breakfast. The town is within walking distance but in any case it is worth renting a car to be able to explore the island. The hospitality of Philippe was amazing - pick up from the ferry, explaining in great detail the things to do on the island, fresh bread in the morning, even finding a key to the locked church in Mandas! If you want to relax and be surrounded by nature this is a perfect spot!

The place was lovely especially the view which includes amazing sunrises and sunsets! Filipes support was great, from the breakfast over providing a really cheap rental car to information about island. The only opportunity for improvement are smaller repairs here and there in the bungalow. Otherwise the great stay would be perfect.

Tolle Lage. Basic Bungalows.

Familiengeführte Anlage in wunderschöner Lage. 2017 eröffnet. Schwer zu finden. Läuft unter "Intact Bungalows". Einfache Bungalows mitg Ikea-Einrichtung. Hält alles bestimmt nicht lange. Einrichtung hat schon Verschleißerscheinung. Vielleicht etwas teuer. Aber es gibt morgens Brötchen. Und wir konnten mit unserem Mietwagen zu Endpunkten von Wanderungen fahren. Der Eigentümer fuhr mit separaten Pkw mit und brachte uns dann kostenlos zum Startpunkt der Wanderungen.

Magique !!!!

Ce lieu est magique, à côté d’Urzelina petit village typique avec d’excellents restaurants. Filipe, notre hôte, est tout simplement extra: son anglais est parfait, il nous a traité comme des princes, nous a fait découvrir son île comme personne, nous a permis de voir des grottes splendides à bord de son bateau. C’est la 6ème fois que nous venons aux Açores et Filipe est à ce jour l’une de nos plus belles rencontres. Ses maisons sur pilotis sont très bien conçues, ont une vue époustouflante sur Pico et nous nous sommes vraiment sentis privilégiés. Je recommande plus que chaudement cet endroit qui, à mon sens, est un passage obligé lors de votre séjour aux Açores !
