Forget your worries in this quiet and serene space. Watch spectacular sunsets from the balcony and let the sound of waves lull you to sleep. Surf, swim, boogie board, walk on the beach, and relax by the pool.
THE SPACE
Spacious 2d floor end unit condo with large balcony to enjoy meals and ocean views. Fiberoptic WiFi is available. We are located in a gated community with 24-hour security on site. We have a fully equipped kitchen and an outdoor BBQ. The condo comes equipped with beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, and a hammock. There is a resort-style pool facing the beach, with outdoor showers, sun-loungers, shaded areas, and tables and chairs for oceanfront drinks/snacks.
LOCATION
We are located in Playa Junquillal, a quiet beach town 1.5 hours drive from Liberia Airport(LIR) and a 40 minutes drive from Tamarindo (the closest tourist hub).
BEACH
Playa Junquillal is a 2 miles (3km) long pristine beach with several reef surf breaks (one in front of the condo and one about half an hour walk). You can enjoy swimming and boogie boarding in the gentle waters right in front.
NATURE
The wildlife is abundant. You will see (and hear :) howler monkeys, a variety of birds, and butterflies. This is a nesting ground for several pieces of sea turtle so you likely have an opportunity to witness nesting or hatching depending on the time of your trip(Leatherback: Sep-Mar, Olive Ridley: Jun-Dec, Hawksbills, and Black sea turtles: Jul-Oct).
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned condo, featuring a kitchen with a refrigerator and an oven. There's a private balcony. Hello Paradise, Meet Your Biggest Fan!

I can't say enough about this property, except, can I please rebook my stay and never leave? Okay, so let's get to the stuff you want or need to know. First, Playa Junquillal about 35 minutes outside Tamarindo. It's got a small town vibe with uncrowded beaches that are surrounded by untouched eco-diversity and offers some spectacular activities, such as horseback riding on the beach (Give Estero Tours a call, they are amazing!). This place is in a small condo/townhome type of community with very nice people that seem to live there much of the year and they really care for the place. I have been staying at VRBO rentals for many years and this is the most well stocked and one of the most perfectly furnished place we have stayed in. It's feels spacious, but more importantly, the views are ridiculous, with every night being a perfect sunset. The balcony is perfect for relaxing or eating a meal. There is air conditioning in the master and in the living room, but the air circulates enough to what looks like it could be an office or a room. The balcony is spacious and stays mostly cool due to the shaded enclosure. The pool has a very resort feel and vibe to it, which is enhanced by the tropical feel thanks to the grounds that have been so well maintained. Overall, it's a quiet, quiet and tranquil place, so if you are looking to relax, read a book or play with your kids in a more lowkey environment, you have found your Nirvana!
