Didn’t use room cleaning everyday but had towels replaced. Breakfast seating a little difficult but I understand over Christmas time the hotel was full to capacity so staff managed it well.

Fun place to stay

Room was good value for money and the hotel has wonderful views and nice vibe. The glass elevator's worth a ride. I wouldn't say it's five star, but it's certainly got a sense of occasion. The room was spacious, comfortable and well-appointed - ot was easy to adjust the temperature to my liking, which gets a thumbs up. For me, the dinner options weren't quite there. I couldn't get a table at my first choice restaurant, despite it being a week night, travelling solo and being prepared to wait. So, I gave the Italian a go. Service was friendly, but if I'm paying £22 for a pizza, it had better be top notch.

I wanted to share a small note after our recent stay. We booked a dog-friendly room and were really looking forward to it, but honestly, I expected a bit more from a 4 star experience. There weren’t even any bowls or small touches prepared for our dog upon arrival, which was quite surprising given the room rate and the additional pet fee. I’ve stayed at lower-rated hotels in Sweden that have gone above and beyond to welcome our four-legged friends, with treats, a bed, or even a simple welcome note. It makes such a difference. Maybe it’s worth taking a look at what other hotels are doing in this area, because dog owners truly appreciate when their pets are made to feel special too. Overall, the stay was fine, but it could have been so much more. That’s the real shame, because the potential is definitely there.

Fortfarande one of a kind men börjar bli lite slitet. Eftersom hotellet är populärt blir det också trångt, överallt. Det är inte jättemysigt att sitta i en liten pool med 25-30 andra. Frukosten är ett kapitel för sig och har inte blivit bättre sedan förra besöket. Det är helt meningslöst att be gäster bok tid när alla släpps på hur som helst ändå. Det resulterar i att man spenderar första kvarten med att irra runt för att hitta en ledig plats. Logistiken är också katastrof. Det finns ingen logik, man får springa mellan olika stationer och plocka mat. I värsta fall har någon annat tagit ditt bord under tiden. Försök att samla allt i tex tre stationer så man går till ett ställe beroende på var man sitter. Byt ut kaffekopparna, låga vid koppar håller inte värmen. Tror ni skulle spara in på kaffekostnader då jag med flera springer och hämtar nytt varmt flera gånger. Soffor och fåtöljer, mysigt ja men väldigt opraktiskt och utrymmeskrävande dessutom så mycket kuddar att man måste lägga dem på golvet för att sitta bekvämt. Möblerna skulle behövas göras rent också, de är lite småsunkiga, nedsuttna och fläckiga. Vad gäller maten är den en 3 eller 4. Det hade ju inte varit jättesvårt att göra en midsommarmeny som tillval. Matjessill i någon form till förrätt, jordgubbar till dessert, kanske en tårta, ja i alla fall något på helgtemat. Det som räddar upp prisvärdheten är ju hotellet i sig om än lite slitet numera, är den fantastiska personalen. Alla, precis alla har varit makalösa.

Fint och högkvalitativt boende. Långt drivet koncept med fin detaljnivå på allt. När man kommer som resenär med elbil var dock inte bemötandet på topp. Laddplatserna utanför receptionen var ”någon annan som skötte” enligt kvinnan i receptionen. Hon hänvisade till ett publikt p-hus i närheten. Enbart 3,7kWh laddning där.
