Located in a hilly position, the house is located above the town of Varenna , in a quiet environment immersed in the authentic atmosphere of a small village.
The house is on two levels and can be reached through a short pedestrian path through the streets of the village. The entrance is located upstairs, through a pedestrian gate that leads to a large panoramic terrace overlooking the lake, furnished with deckchairs and outdoor table: the ideal place to relax in the open air or enjoy a lunch with a view.
The terrace leads to the bright living area, consisting of a living room with a well-equipped open kitchen and a dining area. In the living room there is also a bunk bed, which can accommodate up to two additional people. Continuing on, a corridor leads to the bathroom and the double bedroom.
From the internal corridor, you go down to the lower floor, where there is a characteristic tavern with direct access to the private garden. Thanks to the thick stone walls, this environment naturally remains cool even during the hottest days, making it the ideal place to read, relax or spend moments of tranquility. The garden offers a private green space in which to enjoy the lake air and pleasant moments outdoors, surrounded by nature.
The apartment has the main amenities for a pleasant and independent stay, including a well-equipped kitchen and a washing machine. The house is completely non-smoking, to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.
One of the strengths of the house is the wonderful panoramic view of Lake Como, which offers suggestive views at any time of the day. The center of Varenna can be reached in about 20—30 minutes on foot or in a few minutes by car. It is important to keep in mind that the house is located in an elevated position compared to the town and that the walking route to reach Varenna and, above all, to return to the house has uphill sections. We therefore recommend that you take this into account when planning your trips, especially if you are traveling with young children, luggage or people with mobility difficulties.
The nearby Fiumelatte train station also offers connections with other towns on Lake Como and with Milan.
The house does not have private parking; it is possible to use the public parking spaces available in the village.
We recommend that you do your shopping before reaching the house , especially if you arrive by car or prefer to avoid further walking. Given the hilly location and the distance from the main stores, organizing purchases in advance will make your stay more comfortable and relaxing.

Failure to pay the tourist tax, if applicable, may result in the cancellation of the reservation, as it is a mandatory requirement set by the Municipality.

The official check-in time is from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
