The apartment occupies part of the ground floor of this beautiful house, inhabited as a second home by a discreet owner. It has a private garden, sheltered from view, and opposite the owner's garden, on the other side of the house. The dwelling, very bright, is open with numerous windows. A beautiful entrance leading to the garden, distributes a vast and comfortable living room, a small bedroom with 2 single beds that can be joined (80 x 200 cm) for one adult or two children, a well-equipped kitchen (oven, vitroceramic hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave...) serving as a dining room. Then through a corridor, one accesses the large bedroom (double bed 160 x 190 cm) and the bathroom (bath/shower, washbasin and WC (washer-dryer).
A beautiful atmosphere reigns there, made of an elegant decoration and accompanied by a large garden surrounded by beautiful walls and equipped with garden furniture.
Several valleys lead to the sea and the beach of Varengeville, with its prodigious cliffs. At the end of the street, 5 minutes on foot, you can descend the Moutiers gorge by a steep path. The village centre is also accessible on foot by a beautiful walk in one of the most beautiful streets of the village.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub in Varengeville-sur-Mer und waren ganz entzückt von dem Ort. Das Haus liegt in einer sehr idyllischen Lage und hat einen tollen, großen Garten, der besonders auch mit Hund ein Traum war. Von dort aus können schöne Spaziergänge zur Steilküste und an den Strand gemacht werden und es gibt unmittelbar einen Wanderweg. Das Haus ist recht rustikal mit alten Möbeln eingerichtet, was zum einen zu dem historischen Haus passt, zum anderen jedoch deutlich liebevoller und bequemer ausfallen könnte. Wir haben gerne im Garten gegessen und die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet - das war wirklich toll - in der Küche hätten jedoch 4 Leute nicht bequem am Tisch verweilen können. Das kleinere der beiden Zimmer ist sehr klein und rudimentär eingerichtet, es finden gerade mal so 2 Personen Platz darin. Allgemein bedarf es einer Renovierung in der Wohnung, besonders der Abfluss der Badewanne könnte in Stand gesetzt werden.Aufgrund des tollen Wetters haben wir den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden das schöne Grundstück und die tolle Lage wärmstens empfehlen! Auch der Eigentümer, der nebenan wohnt, ist sehr freundlich und zurückhaltend.

Licht und Schatten
Wir fangen mal mit den positiven Erlebnissen in der Ferienwohnung an: Ein sehr schönes Haus in wundervoller Lage in Varengeville. Herd, Geschirrspüler und Kühlschrank recht neu sind, ebenso das große Bett im Schlazimmer, dass auch sehr bequem ist. Der Garten ist ebenfalls sehr schön angelegt.Die Wohnung ist insgesamt jedoch recht betagt und müsste umfassend saniert/renoviert werden. Dies betrifft das Mobiliar, aber auch den Zustand der Räume. Beispiele: Abblätternde Farbe an Wände und Decken, defekter Kleiderschrank im Schlafzimmer, Elektrokabel- und Rohrverlegung wie in den 1970ern, in der Küche sehr einfache und unbequeme Sitzgelegenheiten vorhanden (der einzige Platz, um zu essen), ein paar einfache Sitzkissen für die Holzstühle wären schon eine Verbesserung. Das 2. Bett im 2. Schlafraum ist höchstens ein Notbehelf für 1-2 Tage und ebenfalls sehr unbequem. Was uns zudem sehr gestört hat, war die Sauberkeit der Wohnung bei Übergabe. Die Haare der Vormieter im Badezimmer muss man einfach nicht haben. Emilié, die die Wohnung verwaltet und der Besitzer, der ebenfalls im Haus wohnt, wurden von uns informiert. Vielleicht nutzt dies ja den nächsten Mietern.Fazit: In dieser Wohnung sind es zu viele Kleinigkeiten, die kein gutes Gesamtbild vermitteln und den Urlaubsgenuß in dieser wunderschönen Gegend insgesamt leider trüben.

Séjour reposant et endroit enchanteur
Logement bien agencé dans un très bel environnement. Le seul bémol concerne la seconde chambre : en réalité très petite pièce bien inférieure à 9 m2, ce n'est pas un lit gigogne, il faut désolidariser les 2 sommiers et on est à hauteur du sol, enlever le petit bureau et il n'y a plus de place, pas de vestiaire murale, on peut tout juste ouvrir la porte. C'est une pièce d'appoint pour un enfant ou 2 adolescents mais pas pour des personnes ayant des rhumatismes. À part ça, Varengeville est à découvrir.
