Bra ställe att övernatta på om man ska gå på en konsert i Vara konserthus, ca 20 minuters promenad dit. På konditori Nordpolen kan man äta en prisvärd lunch och på fredagar serveras frukostbuffé där. Hotellet har ett välutrustat kök.

Vara pensionat - Ett fräscht, bättre vandrarhem

På väg till Alingsås Hundstall för att hämta Sigge Schnauzer till sitt nya hem i Ö-vik. Detta krävde en övernattning, vilket blev i Vara. Vi kom sent på kvällen, men fick en kod till yttrdörren och rum 103. Rum 103 på Vara Pensionat var litet, men fräscht och smakfullt. Vi köpte frukost på Ica Kvantum, då vi skulle lämna tidigt, som förvarades i kylskåpet i det fina köket. En rymlig toa- och duschrum i korridoren invid köket. Glöm inte rumskoden, alt lägg ngt i dörröppningen, vid t ex nattkissningen!
