The room was exceptionally quiet and well appointed. Parking was very secure although the spaces are a little tight. Just a couple of minutes on foot and you are by the Hotel de Ville and the whole historic centre is on hand.

Good location for the old town within 100 metres with lots of shops, restaurants and medieval buildings. Small amount of paid-for parking on site but plenty within 50 metres. Rooms very good.

A great base for exploring Vannes and local area

We asked for specific rooms to cater for our family, who travelled with us. We also asked for reserved car parking. All our requests were met, which made our holiday stress-free. We’ve been here five times before, and would certainly return in the future.

Good location and value

Friendly staff. Good English skillls. Very clean room though a bit stark in its decor. Quiet. Very good selection of TV channels including BBC 1 and 2. More than one chair would have been nice as this was a double room. The room was big enough for it. No bathroom, but I didn't mind. Some might. An easy walk from the railway station. Town centre very close.

Very handy for the old town, which is beautiful, has lots of good restaurants, bijoux shops, and a great market. Rooms are clean. Decent sized shower with good water pressure. Sensible checkout time (noon). But... Standard room is very small, has no tea/coffee making, small thin towels, not enough hooks or electricity sockets. Underground parking is charged, but the pedestrian door is often left unlocked so the car's contents are at risk. Free underground parking a short walk away.

Literie très confortable. Nous avons voyagé avec notre chien et le personnel nous a fourni gracieusement une gamelle et des friandises. Petit déjeuner délicieux. Seul point négatif, le parking n’est pas fait pour les grandes berlines. Les places sont très étroites mais cela ne nous empêchera pas de revenir.

Très bien situé, l’hôtel Escale Oceania permet de se rendre à pied dans les quartiers médiévaux de la ville ou de rejoindre facilement le port. Le parking était complet quand nous y sommes allés mais il est possible de se garer dans la rue, dans des stationnements payants. Les tarifs proposés sont tout à fait corrects au vu de la localisation de l’établissement. L’accueil est agréable et courtois et permet de passer un agréable séjour. Les chambres, aux dimensions correctes, sont intelligemment organisées avec des toilettes séparées de la salle de bain. Du café soluble et des sachets de tisane sont également proposés. L’insonorisation est parfaite, malgré le fait que l’hôtel donne sur une rue passante : aucun bruit ne se fait entendre à l’intérieur. Un point négatif : la literie. Le matelas manque de fermeté et ne semble pas de la toute première fraicheur, même si cela n’empêche pas de dormir. On peut également regretter la dimension vraiment petite des oreillers ainsi qu’un manque de fermeté. De plus, la chambre pour deux personnes, ne propose qu’un oreiller supplémentaire dans l’armoire, ce qui est dommage. Pour résumer : un hôtel très correct mais qui pourrait faire beaucoup mieux.
