Welcome to Grandmaster Suite at Valletta City Suites, where historic character meets modern comfort in the heart of Valletta. Launched in December 2024, the suite forms part of a beautifully restored 400-year-old building, where original architectural features have been carefully preserved and complemented by contemporary furnishings and amenities.

Tucked away in a quiet pedestrian alley, Valletta City Suites is just a short walk from Valletta’s cafés, restaurants, shops, museums and many of the capital’s most iconic attractions, including the Upper Barrakka Gardens, St John’s Co-Cathedral and the Grand Harbour.

Located on the first floor and conveniently accessible by lift, Grandmaster Suite features:

A spacious, fully enclosed bedroom with a comfortable queen-size bed

A distinctive feature wall depicting the magnificent hallway of the Grandmaster’s Palace, creating the impression of sleeping within this historic setting

A bright open-plan living, dining and kitchen area with contemporary furnishings

Original masonry arches, carefully preserved to retain the unique character and atmosphere of the historic building

Guests also have access to the shared rooftop terrace of Valletta City Suites. Furnished with sunbeds, tables and chairs, the terrace provides a relaxing outdoor space from which to enjoy rooftop views across Valletta’s historic cityscape.

The suite is equipped with modern, energy-efficient air conditioning for both cooling and heating. A small contribution is payable for air-conditioning use at a very economical rate, with the aim of encouraging sensible energy consumption while keeping guests comfortable throughout their stay.
