Shops, pubs & restaurants are just outside the hotel. The only issue was the noise at night due to the music coming from the pub until late. Staff are nice. Very close to Upper Barrakka where the saluting battery was located, also the ferry to Gozo. All buses are accessible going to different places like Sliema, Malta Airport, St Julians etc are 5mins to walk from the hotel.

I really enjoyed my 4 night stay here, beautiful room, great location, very helpful staff and a wonderful breakfast each day, I would certainly stay here again. Be aware that there is live music in the street outside every night from 9pm through till 12.30, which might not be to everyone's liking, especially if you like a early night.

We loved the hotel & the central location. It’s on a very busy street that’s full of restaurants and bars. There’s loud music that is muted by the doors and windows except Friday night when we could hear a little music, but it was fine. Every employee we had contact with was helpful & very polite. All very clean and the breakfast was very good. Comfortable bed. The only downside was the Oxygen Lounge below us on the street that played very loud music and shouting aggressive voices well into and after 2 am. Otherwise a good location in Valletta.

So much noise - very nice hotel

Only one star because it is located right over a bar that plays VERY LOUD music half of the night. It was so difficult to sleep and kind of ruined the vacation. The hotel itself is really nice - everything clean and big room and very nice breakfast. So annoying self check in… takes forever and you only get one keycard even though you are two people…

The room was located above a bar (oxygen bar) With very loud speakers thumping till 2am. We sent a text to the manager (i have a copy of it on my Expedia). They never responded! Expedia couldn't get a hold of anyone either. A asked the nice young lady working there if we could be at least moved to a higher room which she replied that they were booked. A solid terrible experience and sleepless nights. Just AWFUL.

Way too much noice at night because of a bar beneath the hotel. They play music so loud half of the night - it almost ruined the trip because we only slept a few hours. The hotel itself is really nice and awesome breakfast and very nice lady at breakfast. Stupid you only get one keycard

Room is nicely appointed in the pedestrian zone near all tourist sites. Hotel is not manned. You check in with a vending machine. The main problem is the hotel is next to a nightclub that plays loud pulsating music from mid-afternoon to after 1;30 am. Room was vibrating and impossible to sleep. No staff to address this with
