In the heart of the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Natural Park, between Mauriac and Riom-es-Montagnes, this gîte with independent ground-floor entrance is located in a renovated 1890 barn which also contains another gîte. Nestled in a small mid-mountain village, you can enjoy hiking (Aulac pass, Mars valley, Puy Mary, etc.), fishing (Trizac and Menet lakes, the Sumène and Mars rivers), cross-country skiing and snowshoeing (cross-country ski center in Le Falgoux) and swimming (Trizac and Bort-les-Orgues lakes). You can also discover the rich built heritage: Romanesque church trail, visit to a traditional mountain hut (buron), Auzers and Trémolière castles... This 3-star gîte has a courtyard and enclosed grounds with garden furniture, deck chairs, and a barbecue. On the first floor, there is a fitted kitchenette, a living room with a flat-screen TV, one bedroom with a double bed, one bedroom with two single beds, a shower room, and a separate toilet.
