Solo trip to Valencia

Really nice hotel, good size room, good breakfast. The bar was nice but kinda wanted something a bit more cozy at the end of long day, it had more of a night out feel rather than relaxing. Staff were a bit varied, some were great & some didn’t seem happy, no one was rude which was the main thing.

We stayed here while we got our daughter settled to study abroad here in Valencia for the year. Nice facility. Great staff. Always have a friendly security guard on duty so it felt very safe. Always clean. Would absolutely stay again.

We could not get the water hot so our showers were with slightly warm water. That was our only issue, everything else was great, nice big king size mattress and pillows.

It was very nice, shame about the pool size but there is nothing they could have done about that 2 Security Gates to go through and no drink service at the pool but in relation to the size of the pool that’s not really surprising Lack of information about the pool which could be improved

Location is great for the park and beaches to the south of the city. It has a taxi rank. We used the hire bikes to cycle in the park. Someway from Old Town, but we liked that. We noted the rooftop bar is super popular with locals, as we met many people in the lift. Biggest complaint - the swimming pool is tiny! More of a plunge pool and is very busy. Hotel decoration is rather bland, but these ate minor faults.

Beautiful, spotless hotel with polite staff and great housekeeping — rooms are immaculate and turn-down service is a nice touch. Unfortunately, the service culture doesn’t match the price (€400/night without a balcony). The beach is 2.5 km away, not 500 m as advertised. Food and drinks at the beach take over an hour to arrive and are lukewarm. Breakfast doesn’t include omelettes or pancakes (extra charge), cocktails are €18–20, water €5/50cl, and every small request seems billable. Transport costs are extreme: €60 return per person for a 1.9 km boat drop-off, and €130 for a 24 km airport transfer — claimed to be the “only option,” even though we arrived by regular taxi. Cocktails were great when Bruno was working, otherwise sugary water. Food quality didn’t match the price. Overall, it felt like the focus was on squeezing every euro from guests rather than delivering a genuine 5-star experience.

We stayed in a family room with teenagers which worked really well. There were 2 large interconnecting rooms. The batrooms were odd as they didn’t have doors and the toilet door for one of them needed to be propped shut but apart from that really like the rooms. There was a fridge in each room and tea snd coffee facilities. You could hear the noise of traffic but it was not too bad. The bed must have been a super King - it was the biggest bed I have slept in. The other room had 2 singles. All were comfortable. Breakfast was amazing and worth having at least once.
