Parking was good! The hotel is very close to everything one needs in the harbor area! The room was clean and the bed was comfortable! The bathroom had a vent that I used all the time, however I could not get rid of the mildew smell in the bathroom which was very annoying!

The rooms were very clean and the continental breakfast was very good. The hotel is a bit dated for the price. But its a good and convenient place to lay your head for the night. Right next to the harbor, and many good restaurants. The parking lot was a bit of a free-for-all.

The location was great. Right on the water, near the harbor and center of town. The rooms could use an upgrade. We were able to bring our dog which was fantastic! But the room did have a scent from prior dogs but it was manageable and we didn’t really spend much time in the room anyway. Staff was super friendly. The bar tender was also helpful and friendly. Over all we had a good stay here.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Valdez Best Western. The room was spacious, clean, and had the necessary amenities for a very comfortable stay. The front desk staff was courteous and helpful. The location, parking and services were great. For those who met require, there was no elevator. The staff did assist us with a large suitcase up stairs as my husband was recovering from a back injury. We would recommend the Best Western to anyone traveling to Valdez.

Ok breakfast. Property is dated but decent. No elevator so keep that in mind. More modern options in town, not sure I’d stay again.
