A large, fully renovated farmhouse, with an older section featuring reclaimed materials: wood, terracotta tiles, and a fireplace; and a more contemporary section, again using exceptional materials. Two large living rooms, a dining room/library, a spacious kitchen, eight bedrooms including a large dormitory and an independent bedroom in one of the small garden cottages, beautiful outdoor spaces, and six hectares of grounds all around. Depending on the season, you can enjoy the swimming pool, the sound of cicadas, the bellowing of stags, walks along an old Roman road, sunsets and shooting stars... and visits to the region, which abounds with castles, prehistoric sites, museums, listed villages, restaurants, vineyards, farmers' markets, and festivals. Other activities can also be offered: donkey rides, horseback riding, cooking, golf, various workshops... (on request) The nearest shops are in Saint Alvère or Vergt, about a 15-minute drive away. The beautiful Périgord countryside is nearby, and you can then explore Bergerac and Périgueux, Limeuil, the Tremolat singletrack, Les Eyzies, or Lascaux...
