A comfortable village house located in Chateauneuf-de-Chabre, in the heart of the Baronnies Provençales Regional Nature Park, at the entrance to the magnificent Méouge Gorges—a Natura 2000-designated site—accessible on foot from the house.
For nature lovers, there are hiking trails leading to panoramic views and opportunities to relax in the gorges; for the more active, there’s mountain biking, rock climbing, paragliding, trail running, and horseback riding.
Our house is ideally located near many other tourist attractions in the region: - Sisteron with its citadel and the Andrones (15 min) - Laragne, with its famous Provençal market every Thursday morning (5 min) - The Riou Gorges (15 min) - Le Plant du Riou (15 min) - The Serre-Ponçon Dam (1 hr) - Moustiers and its potters (1 hr) - The Valensole Plateau with its endless fields of lavender (1 hr) - The Verdon Gorges (1 hr 30 min) - Lake Sainte-Croix (1 hr 30 min) - Serres, a charming little town (20 min)

In the village, you’ll find a very welcoming bar-restaurant, a playground, pétanque courts, a multi-purpose sports field, and beer tastings at the Brasserie des Gorges de la Méouge. And for enthusiasts: a bocce tournament every Thursday evening in the summer.

Our accommodation

Its best feature! The house doesn’t need air conditioning—its thick stone walls guarantee unbeatable coolness in the summer. Perfect for recharging your batteries!

On the first floor of the house, you’ll find a living room—a space for everyone (TV, reading nook, board games, toys for the little ones)—a cozy dining room, a work area (activities to do, our suggestions), a fully equipped kitchen adjoining a pantry, and a restroom.
The kitchen opens directly onto a covered patio with outdoor furniture and an electric griddle.
Upstairs, there are 3 spacious bedrooms, a restroom, a walk-in closet, a bathroom, and a separate restroom.
There is a garage, in addition to free parking spaces next to the house, for parking cars, bicycles, and motorcycles.
