By far our favourite hotel during our 10 day trip. Easy walk to shops and canals. Very unique room- top floor with a view of the Dom tower. They provided us with ear plugs because of the bells but it didn’t bother us. Room was very comfortable and cozy. Family of 4 had plenty of room. Wished we stayed here longer than 2 nights. The only downside for some would be the multiple sets of steep stairs. It was a workout to get luggage up and down the stairs.

The room was beautiful and the location is a quaint and quiet street with lots of charm. Nearby there are plenty of restaurants and its great proximity to the canal shopping. The staff was friendly and helpful- we loved that we could get laundry done as well!

Unique Utrecht Inn

We loved Utrecht! We only stayed one night but wish we had more time. Our room was on the 1st floor atstreet level so we worried about noise but it was very quiet and peaceful. Our room was quite large and the bed was really comfortable. We’re tall people so it was nice to have a bed that was the right size. The Inn was unique and had the Euro/Old town vibe we were after. The location was great- walking distance from the canal, shops and restaurants. The staff was so friendly and helped us figure out how to make the best of our short stay. I highly recommend both a visit to Utrecht and a stay at this quaint and unique Inn.

A beautiful old hotel that feels like you’re stepping into a time machine back to a bygone era. My room had windows with wooden shutters, a chandelier, a separate powder room for makeup, and a wonderful view of the courtyard and adjacent church. The showers are also very powerful, which was truly wonderful. When I’m back in Utrecht, this is where you’ll find me again. I loved it!

We stayed in the room opposite to the reception. The room was beautiful and spacious but we were unable to have a comfortable time in the room because all the windows were facing the main street. So there was no privacy, everyone walking past the room were looking in. We had to close all the windows, so we had no view. The windows/shutters did not close properly, so we had day light come thru into the room from the top, bottom and middle of the shutters. Also, you had the noise from the main street from the bicycles, venicles etc. Not convenient for a peaceful sleep. There were ear plugs in the room but I should not need to use them for a good hotel. I was dissapointed with my stay. They offered another room on the upper floor and told us that it has the problem with the shutters not closing properly.

Rustic. The rooms reflect the age of the property. So it's not a built out shell. Well done if you like that sort of thing (we did). But if you want a modern hotel in an historical facade, this place is not for you. Exceptional breakfast, great service.
