We stayed for a single night in oneof the hits away from the main hotel. We had a very warm welcome, and we were able to store our bags away before check in. As it was off season the hotel and the island we exceptionally quiet. It was bliss. The room was clean, spacious and quiet. Our evening meal was good (although limited vegetarian/vagan options), and breakfast was exceptional. We would visit again. Thank you!

Mysigt men dyrt i förhÄllande till kvalitet

Tillbringade en natt pÄ vÀrdshuset i dubbelrum. Bodde i kvarnvillan som ligger 300 meter frÄn huvudbyggnaden. Rummet var ok men i förhÄllande till priset kÀndes det vÀl dyrt. Vi Ät middag pÄ vÀrdshuset med blandade recensioner. Lammet var bra men oxfilén seg och trÄkig. Tonfisken var inte heller speciellt rolig. Servicen var bra och oxfilén byttes ut utan knussel. TyvÀrr var den nya portionen inte nÀmnvÀrt bÀttre. Vi gjorde 15 kilometers vandring pÄ ön vilket starkt kan rekommenderas.

Utö VÀrdshus Àr ett trevligt hotell i vacker miljö. Vi bodde i Kvarnvillan 300 m frÄn huvudbyggnaden. Vi hade en fantastisk utsikt över Gruvbyn och hamnen. SjÀlva rummet var vÀl helt okej, stort badrum och frÀscht. Men bÄde rummet och miljön i Kvarnvillan var ganska enkel och levde inte alls upp till prisnivÄn. Nu hade vi tur med fint vÀder och kunde njuta av utsikten och promenaderna till huvudbyggnaden, men en annan Ärstid och med annat vÀder hade det inte varit kul. Rummet var definitivt inte vÀrt 2700 kr, för det priset brukar det vara en helt annan standard. Frukosten var bra och restaurangen pÄ hotellet var toppen!

Trevlig vistelse i stuga

Bokade hotellet och fick en egen stuga, som var i vÀldigt fint och renoverat skick. Stor skillnad pÄ vandrarhemmet som vi bodde pÄ natten innan. Stugan var vÀlstÀdad och det fanns ett litet pentry, sÄ man kan laga enklare mat om sÄ önskas. Eftersom vi bara stannade en natt, Ät vi pÄ VÀrdshuset, men dÀr var dessvÀrre maten under all kritik. Lunch eller middag pÄ VÀrdshuset rekommenderas dÀrför tyvÀrr inte. Köket mÄste höja sin nivÄ avsevÀrt!! Dock var frukosten bra (det fantastiskt bröd), men det Àr ingen större matlagning pÄ just en frukost.
