We arrived to check in not knowing that there were no elevators to get to the second floor. I asked the staff if we were booked for first or second floor which was already set to be a on second, requested a first floor room due to my elderly mother and they seamlessly changed it for us. The room was very clean, was convenient to the parking lot, had a big refrigerator and even a little dining table. Super happy with our stay, the staff and the friendly service. The bed was comfortable, the room was sufficient and convenient to the area. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you Red Roof, Ive seen many locations in this brand be horrible, but Herkimer is very nice!

Bare bones "otel" No amenities, granola bar was continental breakfast. Towels you could almost see thru. no alarm clock, tv so slow you could walk over and change the channel yourself. GREAT location for walking around. near boat trips, park all of in on Main/Canada street. Make your choice and pay for what you want. Would recommend for budget traveler.

Everything was great except the people in the room above us. The noise coming from the room woke us up throught the night till about 2 am. Every step was extremely loud including the moving of furniture periodically. It sounded like people were wrestling. It was a terrible nights sleep.

This was a surprising find. First and foremost was the great check in staff, I think her name was Stephanie. Very cheerful and welcoming. Housekeeping was great. So was breakfast and staff. The lobby was warm and homey.

This was a 1 night stay as we were passing through. The staff was very friendly and the property is older but well care for. Room was very roomy and clean. Would recommend this hotel. It's near Coopertown as well, baseball hall of fame.

Charming, updated vintage looking motel. Beautiful fall mums around property were nice touch! We liked being on ground floor and able to park our motorcycle trike in front of our room.

The rooms and service was clean and the hospitality workers were friendly and accommodating. The only issue I have is the construction worker that stay there during the week. park there oversized pickup trucks and vehicles that should be parked away from the car sized spots. One such pickup backed into a spot till tires touched the chock. His truck bed was like 3 ft. from the rooms door opening. Its not exactly safe. You cant depend on common sense because ppl today dont give a hoot about anyone but themselves. So I would instruct them to park in the rear of hotel instead of outside floor level rooms. Now that would be 1. Courteous 2. Common sense. common sense.

The room was next to the expressway and very noisy. The bed mattress was on a sheet of metal and every time you moved the bed would sound like thunder or someone closing a door.
