1) A maintenance person had to let us OUT of our room. The door would not open from inside. He did come to our aid as soon as I called the front desk, but it as been that way all night- a serious safety hazard. 2) Breakfast was supposed to be open at 7. It was still being set up at 7:20. 3) Our room was clean and warm, which was why they still got a 3.

Check in was at 3pm and when we arrived at 4:45 our room still wasnt ready. We were told it would only be 15 minutes, but that turned into an hour and 15. Around 6:30 we were told our room was ready but when we went up to the room, the cleaning staff was still in the room actively cleaning. So we stood innthe hall way woth pur bags for another 5 minutes or so. The room itself wasn't a problem, it was more spacious than we thought. Saturday night we had a few issues. First, they are renivatung the 4th floor which is fine, but no one told us the crew worked the weekends so it was constant drilling and hammering noises. There was also some kind of party going on downstairs which continued on until around 1130pm. When we called the front desk they didn't seem overly concerned. Finally when I spoke to the front desk upon mydeparture, with all the negative things that went on I was told that because I booked through Hotels.com they couldnt comp me any money or points for my next stay. The whole thing was kind of sad, customer service was awful, they werent very communicative about things going on in the hotel and overall not sorry for our inconveniences. 0-10 would not stay again!
