ENTIRE LAKEFRONT 10-bedroom Chateau Getaway at Whitecap Mountains Resort

EXCLUSIVE ACCESS to the entire property! This booking is for all 4 of our units, consisting all 3 levels includes 10 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, 2 full kitchens, 2 kitchenettes, 2 saunas, 2 foosball tables, washer and dryer, firepit/outdoor area, 3 sided wrap around decks with lake and mountain views and a lakeside balcony.
We have one 14' rowboat, a canoe, 1 three person kayak, 6 adult kayaks, and 4 child kayaks available for guest use at no charge.

Enjoy your true nature escape in Northern Wisconsin. Whether you are looking for the thrill of experiencing the miles and miles of Iron County's UTV, ATV, and snowmobile trails, the relaxation of fishing/ice fishing or kayaking, the rush of downhill skiing, or taking in the views while cross country skiing, snowshoeing, or hiking- there really is something for everyone. A short drive brings you to some of the most beautiful waterfalls as well as the shores of Lake Superior. This is the perfect getaway location for any time of year!

At Northwood Chateau, we want you to really experience what the Wisconsin Northwoods has to offer in every season! In addition to our great location near the main chair lift of the ski resort, we are a private location at the very end of the road and one of the few lodges with direct lake access, dock included! In the winter months, enjoy skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, or ice fishing followed by warming up in an in-house sauna! In the summer months, enjoy kayaking and fishing right out front or a beautiful UTV ride or hike through the Northern Wisconsin wilderness followed by a lakeside fire in our firepit!

Our 10 bedrooms consist of 4 king size beds on the lowest level, 2 king size beds on the main floor level, 2 king size beds on the upper level, two sets of twin over full size bunk beds, and two additional twin beds also on the upper level. The north half (Units 2 & 4) adjoin, as do Units 1 & 3 on the south half. There is not interior access from the north half to the south half of the Chateau.

Pool and hot tub are located within the main hotel of the resort for $5/day.

Main hotel also features a restaurant/bar that we highly recommend!
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned vacation home, which features a fireplace and a Smart TV. There's a private balcony. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected.

The units were nicer than expected. It was great to have enough beds and rooms to accommodate everyone. The place was pretty clean. The lack of a large kitchen/dining and living area made socialization difficult. But we made due. The views/lake were beautiful. The lack of a guard rail along the front cliffs were a safety hazard with kids. The path to the lake was dangerous. No handrail and no true steps for part of it were scary. I have a balance issue and bad joints. The path was extremely scary for me. But I had to do it so I could go fishing. Luckily there were no falls. The pier was shaky down at the lake. You could put in a ladder so people can swim there. The lake water was crystal clear. The large fire pit area was nice. We could all gather around a cozy fire. Overall we had a great time.
