Corru Gate + Copper Gate + Kissing Gate are built with sustainability and family-friendliness in mind. Built as an eco-architect project in partnership with Polytech students, it is one of NZ's most eco of eco-homes. We value our natural environment (open spaces, birds, native trees). We've spray-free orchards – grab a lemon for your GandT on the deck, or enjoy a delicious breakfast grapefruit or free-range eggs (in season). Hand-feed our tame sheep. Super insulation and a woodburner make for toasty-warmness in winter. Cool in summer.

Weddings and reunions? We can sleep up to 22 at The Gates including Corru Gate, and Kissing Gate and the Briar Rose Suite.

A large lounge, chef's-delight kitchen, en suite and sumptuous king-bed bedroom are a pleasure to relax in.

The Paris Suite is central for exploration and adventure. Wander our gently sloping farm taking in the views. Nelson's best cafes/studios are just 3 mins drive in the seaside village of Mapua - or walk/cycle there. Nearby - beaches, inlet, wharf jumping, cycle ferry/trails. The Great Taste Trail accessed via a feeder trail at the Paris Suite's driveway. Use our route guides and ample storage. Wineries just along the road. Art studios, potteries, Abel Tasman, Kaiteriteri, Nelson, rivers nearby. Owners are 150m away for advice.
