Originally built some 150 years ago to support the quarrying of the region’s famous green-grey slate, traces of this fascinating history can still be found throughout the house and on the extensive grounds. Accessible via a rustic forest path, the house is secluded and offers breathtaking views of forests, valleys and rolling hills. A spacious kitchen and a large dining room provide the ideal setting for shared meals and unforgettable moments. The property also features garden furniture and a barbecue area. Whether for families, clubs or groups of friends – this house is a wonderful base for hiking and enjoying the unspoilt natural beauty of the Thuringian Forest.
