Look. Full transparency. I’m being mean for giving this place only 1 star. It is probably an excellent hotel. I honestly don’t know. I didn’t stay there. Quick version is this. I booked a room for Morrisville, PA. To my surprise there are two towns with the exact same name (and spelling) in PA. I needed the Morrisville between Philadelphia and Trenton, NJ. The other one is located by Waynesville, PA (Pittsburgh). On the app you can only tell by one of the Morrisville’s saying Bucks County. So, lesson learned. Always confirm you have the right town via zip code and/or look on a map . The only way to get my $131 back for the night was for the hotel to refund it. They would not. They stuck with hotels.com and Microtel policy. I get it. It was my fault…rules are rules. I just thought that being around Christmas, and it being a honest mistake, they would allow me to have my money back. How much effort does it take to do a refund? Charge me a $20 fee. Give me a future credit. Something. They offered nothing. Just explained to me how to not make the same mistake next time. Greatly appreciated. I’m sure I couldn’t have figured that out on my own. So anyway, buyer beware. Do your due diligence. Pay for the insurance. An extra nine dollars is all it would cost me if I paid for that. So to the staff at that hotel, this isn’t personal. It’s just a review from a guy who does business differently. I stay in hotels over 50% of the year with my job. I will now avoid Microtel. Thank you.

When I arrived Friday evening, I had booked what I thought was a handicap room but it really wasn't. The person on duty let me look at a more suitable room and I was able to make the switch. They also helped me carry my things to my room. Being in a wheelchair makes it difficult to push the luggage cart. Check out was more difficult because everyone seemed to be busy so it took me several trips.

Clean room, comfortable beds. On the day we were there free pizza and soda was available. I am not sure if that is an everyday thing, or just on certain days. The front desk staff was very pleasant, and actually remembered a phone conversation we had a couple of days before we arrived. The hotel was quiet, and we felt safe there. Breakfast was pretty standard, an upgraded continental with a few hot options. Also had a waffle machine, which is always a win in my book! Would definitely stay here again.
