We had a wonderful, peaceful stay at Shore Beach Villa. It’s important to note that this is a private villa rather than a hotel, making it perfect for those looking for a self-catering experience. The views are incredible and it’s very close to Jungle Beach. ​The owner was exceptionally responsive and went above and beyond to make our stay special. The only minor downside is the spotty WiFi. To be fair, the owners have tried their best by installing two different providers, but the signal remains weak. Even mobile data is slow due to the distance from the antennas. If you're looking to disconnect and enjoy the scenery, this is the perfect spot!

We loved staying here, we extended our stay by nearly a week! The rooms are clean and comfortable. The view of the ocean is fantastic, and I've never seen such beautiful sunsets. The kitchen was simple, but had everything we needed. The staff and owners were lovely. I want to thank Sandy specifically because when my partner injured her foot, Sandy helped tremendously. She brought some aloe plants from her home and helped us apply it. She is such a genuinely kind person. The only drawback is that the Internet was a little spotty. But that's true for most of Sri Lanka it seems.
