We loved this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the breakfast selection in the newly renovated dining room. But we adored the view and the access to the fjord from the room. The location was really good for amenities and hikes. We could happily have stayed longer.

Great location for getting around the area. Wonderful fjord view from room. Lovely little veranda for sitting and watching life. Loved the view!!! Everyone in the hotel was very friendly and helpful.

This was a great location with friendly staff and amenities. Breakfast was simple but good. We were able to rent kayaks. Would definitely stay here again. However, there is another much nicer hotel located closer to the heart of town that has a much more affordable sauna (about $10 USD vs $40 USD per person) that has a better view and restaurant. Pricing between the two is comparable, so if the other location has availability it is a better option than this location.

Evelyn on the front counter was very helpful and friendly. The view from our room was amazing, nothing else like it. The rooms are simple but cosy. Note, there is no TV in the bedrooms but in the two lounges there are televisions to watch. It’s a short walk to everything however most shops are closed on Sunday.

Average hotel with poor facilities and service

The location of the hotel was great as was the view from the room. The dinner menu was limited but quality was good, however breakfast was very bad and the coffee was burnt. We were in the junior suit, it was a large room, but the furniture was dated, the room and the bathroom were not clean. There was no soap in the dispensers and no paper napkins/tissue. The hotel was understaffed and that did affect the service, since there was no housekeeping or room service. Overall an average hotel over priced for the quality being offered.

Comfortable beds, but overall hotel is shabby and in need of refurbishment. The hotel staff were helpful. The furniture and decor is poor, the bathroom whilst clean is well outdated. The breakfast was disappointing, poor choice and quality.

Nydelig beliggenhet God seng Mye lyd fra andre gjester på natten Bestilte buffe - maten var kald. Det samme var varmmaten til frokost. Varmmat var ikke dekket over for å kunne holde på varmen heller. Lite å velge mellom.

Slitt hotell, men vi fikk er stort rom med fjord-utsikt. Veldig stille og rolig hotell, null trafikkstøy, og vinduer og dører isolerte godt mot støy. Frokosten var nok noe av det dårligste jeg har opplevd på ett norsk hotell. Veldig basic, kalde egg og tørt brød. Våget ikke satse på buffeten de tilbøy til middag i frykt for at kvaliteten der holdt samme standard.
