terrible place

I am extremely disappointed with my recent booking through Hotels.com at Ananda JJ Resort Ubud. The condition of this so-called resort was unacceptable. Upon arrival, we were shocked to find the place in terrible condition—the rooms were smelly and unclean, with damp walls, a non-functional AC, and filthy toilets. Worse, there were cigarette butts left in the ashtray, indicating poor cleaning standards. The linen was dirty, adding to the discomfort. The swimming pool had visible algae, making it unsafe, and my friend’s kids were too scared to even step in. The entire experience was a nightmare, and we had no choice but to leave and find another hotel through a different, more reliable platform. To make matters worse, Hotels.com provided zero assistance when we tried to cancel. Your so-called virtual assistance was useless, leaving us stranded and forced to pay for another hotel out of pocket. This is unacceptable customer service. I will never book through Hotels.com again and will strongly advise others to avoid it as well. A refund and an apology would be the least Hotels.com can offer after such an awful experience.

The place is located in a quiet rural area overlooking some rice terraces making the setting nice. I just had an issue with the smell in the water and the smell of sulfur coming from the drawing was not pleasant. The bungalous could be so amazing if they just took care of the water issues and clean the bathrooms properly, needs lots of TLC

Wonderful stay between ubud and the rice terraces

Staff was so nice. Location is great (but you need a bike) between Ubud and the rice terraces. The place is charming and bungalow look great. Clean and comfortable. I’ve loved my stay here. Also they kept my bag the next day so I could explore, which was appreciated. Great value, I recommend 100%

Perfectly tranquil little place if you want to avoid the bustle of central Ubud. My room had a lovely balcony view of the neighboring rice fields (and a whole lotta ducks!). Requires a 10 minute ride into town, easily arranged by the awesome staff. Nice meals prepared with care. Several other eating spots within a short walk. Enjoyed my stay.

This propety is located in the middle of rice field, away from crowded area. Staffs are friendly as always. Breakfast is ok. Lovely garden, good vibe. Recommend if you like to relax in a quiet place with natural sound
