The lobby and sitting areas are bright and spacious. The breakfast was great. The room was clean but a bit dated. This is a great location. The hotel is quiet. I paid extra for a room Expedia offered with 2 queen beds and a living area only to find out at check-in that no such room existed at this hotel (King suites only).

We’ve been traveling to TYLER for several years now and been wanting to try the Hilton Garden Inn. We were there during Thanksgiving, which I understand why their service wasn’t amazing. What we did not like is the water in the shower never did really get hot. There was mold in there and the carpets were kind of gross. We had a dinner at the restaurant and it was nice.

The hotel in general was very dirty. Under our beds there was a thick layer of dust and random objects, one of which looked like a sex toy. The sheets were gritty and had a blood stain. The beds creaked like they were broken and pretty uncomfortable. the pool bathroom had a finger smeared poop trail on the wall next to the toilet. Our bathroom door was covered in small hairs everywhere. The hall carpets and walls were appalling. The entire hotel was just filthy.

The staff was wonderful & the room was clean. However the perfume smells in the room were overpowering. The shower never was hot. It was lukewarm at best so we will definitely never return to this hotel again. The bed was old and uncomfortable. We would roll to the center of the bed and the sheets and towels had holes in them, they were all old as well.
