Palmwood paradise is an adorable cottage. The decor is so nice. The beds are comfy. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The yard is huge with beautiful trees and a large front porch. The walk to the north beach (public beach) was very quick and easy. So close! We also enjoyed the short walk to the Tybee museum and lighthouse (climb to the top and see the old lighthouse keepers house restored to the early 1900s).

Fantastic property nestled in North Tybee for a long weekend or full week stay. Plenty of parking, a few minutes walk to the beach, lighthouse, marine center. Quiet and safe street. The home was supplied with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved Palmwood Paradise. It was just perfect for us. Loved the closeness to the beach. The cottage was clean. Everything was in working condition. We spent a day exploring Savannah which we thoroughly enjoyed!!! The beach was absolutely lovely!!!

Great location, poor house location

First, the positives. The repair person and cleaner were amazing! Very responsive and quick! Unfortunately, we had to call them more than once.1. When we got there, we had no hot water. 2. 2 days later, the plumbing got clogged and overflowed.3. The house was not very clean. There was dust on the furniture, dirt in the shower, and pet hair on the floor. The kitchen cabinets and dishes were dirty.Again, the housing maintenance representatives were great! No complaints with them! However, we would not stay there again, nor can we recommend the house. We were quite disappointed. I think the house owners set the housing maintenance reps up for failure.

4th of July vacation with family of four. There was plenty of room for all of us and our fur children. The house was amazing. The location was awesome. We were 15 minute walk from anything worth doing and only 4 minutes from the beach. The North Beach is less crowded than the main Beach and well worth it. Northside grill is awesome to stop at the bar and get a little drink or to get a lunch at or dinner. For those traveling with their fur babies. There is a fence completely around the property but it is not what I would say. 100% foolproof there are a few loose pickets and a couple small holes under some of the fences. So please if you take your dogs out do mine them don't just let them roam free. There's also a raccoon. I think that lives under the shed and two cats that have taken up residence in the yard. It was an amazing trip thanks to the house being what it was. The description was perfect and we had enough dishes that we oftentimes cooked breakfast and sometimes dinner with no issues. For those that are coffee connoisseurs, the coffee pot is a drip. We brought our traveling Keurig with us as we prefer to fresh grind our own coffee and there is a shortage of good coffee places on the island.
