Recommended Affordable motel

Nice property close to trail head. Clean and comfortable. Good value for money. Definitely not a 3.5 star property but a good 2 or 2.5 star motel. An additional bath towel to the single small one in the unit would have been nice. But overall would definitely consider staying again.

Interesting property. It wasn’t dirty just dated. Not what we were expecting. No Mountain View or any view for that matter. Smelled like moth balls and I’m pretty sure there was a squirrel in the roof of the cottage. Which I mean, it’s in nature, so that happens. Staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely affordable so, you get what you pay for in some aspect. Idk if I’ll stay here again, but if you just need somewhere quick, it will do.

The motel needs work. The room was smaller than most, but comfortable enough for our needs. The lighting was dark. The bathroom door couldn't close. The screen door into the room could not be closed either. Dead insects were all over the window screens and in the casings. They needed cleaning badly.

Room was run down and not taken care of. Drains in the shower, sink in bathroom and the kitchen all would clog immediately upon running the water. we didn’t shower for this reason. They definitely could take better care of the place in our rating would have been better.

Hair on sink found when we arrived, had to ask to have bathroom cleaned again.
Dust on top of bed frame that I asked be wiped clean.

Cute and Comfortable - Great for the price

Cute and comfortable. If you're looking for a high-end hotel with all the accouterments this is not it, but you should not expect that for the price. It was clean and cozy. Very small bathrooms in the cottages but it's a very small cottage and it is well laid out. We had no complaints at all. There are a lot of great breakfast places nearby and we also found excellent a fabulous Italian restaurant in a town 5 miles away.
