Second time staying here. This is a no frills motel however which has a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and a lot of charm and care put into it. Great budget option for the area which has become increasingly expensive over the last decade It’s a funky desert roadside motel which I personally love to find and just like budget options are dwindling in the area, so are places that are unique with charm. Room was pretty clean and comfortable for my son and I. Would absolutely stay again!

Strong smell of dead animal/sewer in the room. No blanket on the bed despite night temps being in the high 50s. Room was dingy and didn't seem clean. I alerted the staff who tried to clean up the smell, I was out, so not sure what they did, it helped a little, but the smell came back. I was left a comforter that looked old and well-used. I was told there were no refunds. I left a night early. You get what you pay for.

Memorable, unique place. I was charmed by the individual cabins (with small separate dining area, even), colorful paint, and decor. The owner likes to talk philosophy. Very reasonable rates. Looking forward to returning here.

The location is gorgeous, and the staff were phenomenal. I got in past checkin hours, but Nick had left me a key to get settled in and I managed to properly checkin with him in the morning. There were new towels available every morning. The loudest thing out here is the 62 highway next to the motel, but even that is still quite quiet. Parking was easily accessible right in front of the cabin, however I didn’t get a chance to use that amenity. The bus stops were all accessible for me on foot, they just required walking through some sand and neighborhoods. Fantastic place, would come back.

Love this place. Little gem in the desert. This is our 3rd year staying here for the landers orchid festival. It’s close to many great places to eat, farmers markets and local attractions. We will be back next year 😊

The staff was super friendly but the room was subpar. The AC was not strong enough to coll the room even after hours being on. The mattresses and pillows were lumpy and bed base was way smaller than the mattress. The shower drain was partially clogged and the toilet in a a corner between two walls that I could hardly fit into. The room outlets are not US outlets so there various extension cords and split outlets but when you tuen off the main light, an emergency light goes on and cannot be turned off. Super flaky colors were nice but room was inconvenient and strange.

It is close to Skys the Limit Observatory and 29 Palms entrance to Joshua Tree National Park. Cheap and clean. Park in front of your room. Room has refrigerator and microwave. Near markets and fast food.
