Staff is fantastic! The room cleanliness is lacking. The overall upgrades were subpar- painted over old, open holes where light fixture holes are showing behind new lights, floor not vacuumed, disgusting tub where they just wipe it out and don’t actually clean it-black dirt/ mold .

The staff was sweet so I hate to leave a bad review just because of them but I will never stay here again. Outside presentation was great, deceiving. We had 3 rooms total. The first room had such a bad smell..a combination of dog and mildew. The other rooms were tolerable with the smell but still rough. The bathrooms are stained and very out dated. We did request another room because the smell was so bad in the first room. It was game day weekend so options were limited on going anywhere else. My husband did a quick scan and accepted. It’s just a weekend. We went to bed not thinking about what I would find in the bathroom trash in the morning. A used condom hanging off the side of the trash! There wasn’t anyone at the front to talk to as we were leaving and we were pressed for time getting to the game. We honestly didn’t even try to breakfast just based on the cleanliness of our room..but I heard other guests say it was good. Again..staff was sweet. Rooms just need some TLC.

The lobby is lovely but the rooms are not as nice. The beds are metal and loud. The bathrooms are terribly outdated. The AC unit was dirty. The staff was very friendly and helpful however.

Clean room. Comfortable beds. Good hot breakfast except coffee was not good. Smooth check in and check out. No closet. Coffee brewed in the room didn’t taste good. Only one packet of regular coffee and one packet of decaf in the room.

We would like to extend a great Thank you, to the property manager Mr. Huey. He was so kind in every interaction that I had with him. Weeks and days leading up he kept in contact and stood on his word to accommodate my payment request. Any issue we had , wasn’t many at all, he and his staff were on it! They were all so pleasant and kind! Such a cozy hotel. I believe with Mr, Huey in charge it’ll be a 5 star hotel in no time. From a guest perspective I think it just needs an upgrade in appliances, more modern decor and bathroom upgrades. Maybe some new flooring to make it pop. But my husband and I really enjoyed our time. We will be back next year, hopefully we’ll beat Bama!! GEAUX TIGERS!!!

They didn't clean the coffee maker and one of the packages was opened and missing some things. I don't know if they could have also forgotten to change the sheets (I hope not). But overall for the price I think is a decent place and I would stay again! The bed and the pillows were comfortable and there were many channels on the TV!

Very nice and people were kind. it was one of those over priced weekends for a home football game and this was the best price we could afford and still be a nice place to stay. People were kind and very helpful.
