Parking lot was well lit. Staff was friendly. The hotel has 2 floors and no elevator. Our room was a no smoking room yet it smelled like smoke and the comforter had burn holes in it. Bedding had multiple stains.

The room its self had filth/dust all over it. This was just the halfway stop on our trip but next time I will def be choosing a different facility. The breakfast was also lacking in the fact it was just waffles, stale pastries, and toast.

Smoke in a non smoking room?

I would have had a great stay but the room reeked of cigarette smoke...I have lung cancer and asthma..I was miserable but too tired to complain. When we entered the room it was freezing..maybe to mask the smoke? As it warmed up the smoke odor was strong. Misty at the desk is a great employee.. give her a raise and a promotion.

The pool is indoor in the air conditioning which might had been nice if the water in the pool wasn't 66 degrees. This was an extreme disappointment because that was the reason for choosing this hotel. The walls are super thin. All night we heard kids running around. The person that checked me in was less than friendly. However, the room was clean and the hotel is located in a nice area.

Hidden gem

Our AC broke at home and we needed a place nearby that was affordable and wanted a pool to relax in. This place exceeded all of our expectations. The front desk clerk who checked us in was very warm and friendly. You could tell parts of the hotel needed a few updates but honestly we were not disappointed at all. The room was nice and cool and the pool was refreshing. The shower had great water pressure and the hot water was perfect after a dip in the pool. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the free breakfast was pretty decent too! Absolutely putting this old r on our roll definitely be back.

Not coming back

We got a non-smoking room (122) that smelled of smoke, and one of the beds had what looked like a circular cigar burn on it. There was a smell of marijuana around the property. The room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned properly in weeks. There were spills on the nightstand and table, the floor was slimy, the shower curtain was mouldy, and the rubber door trim was missing (one could see through the door and the door frame to the inside). There were stains on the sheets and towels. The toilet roll was used and almost finished. My son saw cockroaches in the room. The pool is advertised as being climate-controlled, but the water was cold.
