For such an old building the hotel was very clean and nicely updated. Our room was spotless and had ALMOST everything we needed. My only complaint
is that they sell food items in the lobby that require microwaving but my room did not have a microwave. Also, you need to have your key card to operate the elevator so in the morning when we checked out I left my key cards in the room because I forgot about it and ended up in an elevator situation so just be careful and make sure you keep a key card with you even when checking out.
Staff were not overly friendly and we booked a king room through Expedia and were given a double. We called to ask and the front desk attendant very rudely said they were sold out and he couldn’t do anything. We got online to verify they were sold out and quickly found multiple king rooms available. I don’t appreciate rude people that aren’t accommodating when I’m on a leisurely trip and I believe that is part of their job in the service industry.
