This is a Route 66 motel that gives 50’s vibe, but delivers modern, upgraded rooms. Our bed was super comfortable; the bathroom had recently been redone with a newly tiled shower. The swimming pool was lovely, with a nice fence to block the wind. The check-in was easy, and every staff member we saw was helpful and friendly. Don’t let the price scare you away—this place is a gem!!!

Pleasantly surprised! Old, but renovated motel was clean and spacious. Comfortable bed, but needed to be a king sized which was not an option. Small TV, but worked well. 2 separate bathroom areas which worked well for getting ready. Will definitely stay again when driving through the area!

Our company had to reserve 3 rooms for workers. In two of the rooms we found a half dozen wind scorpions. Rooms are clean but they just don’t feel clean. They do have a bar but they don’t serve food. The old guy in charge was a bit rude. Find a modern hotel or sleep in your vehicle would be our choice if we had to work in Tucumcarri again.
