The rooms are neglected and dirty. Towels and pillow cases were stained. No hair dryer and No breakfast was available. Parking was overbooked due to a local event so we had to park far from our room. Online pictures are not accurate at all.

Honestly one of if not the dirtiest hotels I’ve ever stayed at. $64 for one night I guess you get what you pay for…Blood stained on the underside of one of the pillows that I unfortunately didn’t notice until the next morning so I couldn’t go somewhere else, Lime- coated shower head that wasn’t even attached to the wall, black and white stains on the shower curtain, dirty sink faucet and smudges on the mirror…. WOW I have never been so disgusted by a room in my life I’ll never stay here again and I will warn everyone I can about staying here as well. I’d rate 0 stars if I could. And the nerve to charge a deposit too (at least I got THAT back). Not to mention the breakfast was cold as well.

There is a $100 deposit that isn't listed on the website. There is a gem and mineral show with tents that cover the pool area and parking area that was not mentioned when reserving the room and also because of the show there is no continental breakfast. I was very disappointed with the amenities and check in. There is a door for patio access that is stuck and a stick drilled across the bottom window which has no opening??? I would not stay here again.

The room was spotless as usual. This is my "go-to" place to stay in Tucson. It's now luxerious, but, it's very comefortable. Also, the pictures are always accurate. I feel like it's one of the "Best bangs for your buck" around. Also, the staff is always friendly and helpful. Can't beat the free breakfast either. Perfectly, centrally located. The manager, Annalisa, is one of the friendliest, attentive people I've come across in the hotel industry. Red Lion Inn & Suites in Tucson definitely deserves 5 stars for its affordability, customer service, and cleanliness.

The room was clean, the staff was friendly and kind. The room was newly remodeled and looked very nice inside. The lobby was clean and neat. Our room was quiet and not a lot of noise from outside or upstairs. The outside seemed a little run down but I would definitely stay again. I was caught a little off guard by the 100 Deposit as I had already paid for my room. But they said it is refundable so I’m hoping to have that back quickly as I wasn’t expecting it.

I saw the '2-star hotel' designation in the Expedia listing, but it's usually ok. I've traveled a lot, although I'm getting old and spoiled. I pulled into the parking lot. The place looks like a dump, hard to figure out where the office is. I drove around looking for it, and there were a bunch of people smoking in the parking lot behind it. I went into the lobby, where it looked and smelled old and gross, and reluctantly got checked in. Drove back to my room past the suspect teenage cigarette smokers and opened my door to a scent not unlike a hospital. Harsh cleaners had ground the grime away in this room for decades, and you know that there'd been grime, because the lingering scent of it was right below the cleaner smell. It was just really run-down and smelly. I ended up just going to the lobby and telling them I wouldn't be staying there, and requesting my money back from Expedia.
