The Atelier Aguilar at Refugi Lo Cortals combines tranquillity, nature and the southern French way of life. Our spacious 80 m² holiday home is located in Tuchan, nestled among the rolling hills of the Corbières.
Dogs are very welcome here. The property is fenced and hiking trails lead directly from the door into the surrounding countryside.
The Aguilar studio is located in an old natural stone complex with original building structures and outdoor facilities with open wall overhangs, which makes it dangerous and therefore unsuitable for small children (under 12 years of age).
Whether you prefer to relax in the house, visit our in-house bistro or take part in our small events such as yoga, wild herb walks or cooking evenings – with us, you can organise your time entirely at your own pace.
Make yourself comfortable in this vacation home, which features a private pool and a Smart TV. There's a private balcony. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected.

Wir (Familie mit zwei Erwachsenen Söhnen und Hund) haben zwei Wochen im Atelier Aguilar verbracht und kurzum: Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht ist hier an einer fantastischen Adresse. Die Gegend rund um die Hügel der Corbière laden zum Wandern und Entdecken ein. Am Meer ist man in 45 bis 50 Minuten. Und die naheliegenden Städte Narbonne (Tipp: Markthalle) und Perpignan (Tipp: Palast der Könige von Mallorca) sind sehenswert und ebenfalls in weniger als einer Stunde erreichbar. Wer Wert auf gutes Essen und großartigen Wein legt, ist in dieser Gegend an einem echt Hot-Spot. Die Gemeinde Tuchan ist gleichermaßen ruhig und lebendig. Obwohl der Ort so klein und idyllisch ist, gibt es ein intensives Gemeindeleben mit regelmäßigen Angeboten und vor allem auch Fremde werden hier herzlich integriert. Genauso wie bei Steffen, uns in seinem kleinen Paradies wärmstens empfangen hat. Das Haus selbst, aber vor allem auch das umliegende Anwesen ist sensationell. Bei aller Schönheit der Region, haben wir es vor allem genossen den Abend auf der Terasse im Schein der Lichterketten und anderen unzähligen Lichter ausklingen zu lassen. Unbezahlbar! Ferner ist Steffen gleichermaßen eine gute Seele und der perfekte Reiseleiter. Seine Tipps waren Gold wert. Wer mit Hund anreist, wird sich hier ebenfalls sehr wohl fühlen. Fur uns eine absolute Empfehlung - Auf ganzer Linie!

It's hard to surmise how special our stay with Steffen and Sandy was. We were looking for somewhere to relax and do some remote working, and we stumbled on somewhere I hope to keep returning to for years to come. The photo's don't do the house justice, it has been beautifully renovated and has a brilliantly equipped kitchen such that we stayed home to cook most nights and made the most of the incredible view. The layout of the accommodation provides privacy - the pool in particular is tucked away from the communal terrace - but Sandy and Steffen are also available should you need them whilst still being respectful of space.The hospitality we received was extraordinary - the airline lost my luggage leaving me with no clothes for 5 days in 40degree heat and Sandy kindly leant me some of hers to tide me over. Steffen also noticed we were enjoying al fresco dining so set up a hot plate for us to use as BBQ's were forbidden in the area during such extreme temperatures. We quickly bonded with them over our love of good food and wine and by then end of the week were sharing meals on the terrace and going out to eat together. We barely scratched the surface of local produce and eateries, there is so much to enjoy in this region and Steffen kept us abreast of events and things to see and do. They have built a beautifully calm and considered retreat amongst the Tuchan vineyards and I can't wait to return. Thank you for such a memorable trip S&S!
