Event coord changed the room we room booked 9 mo in advance w/o permission or any notification of the change, even upon check-in. This error meant we had no balcony, desk space or love seat. The bedroom & bath rooms were a nice size but were not at all what we wanted. The credit to our account was appreciated but certainly did not replace the amenities that we had expected. No dining since chef walked out. Wedding party that took our room woke us up w/ yelling in the hallway late in the evening on our last night. The hotel was in a convenient location for dining & wineries.

We'll be back!

My husband and I stayed in a Lakeview Room that was very clean and modern. All the staff, from front desk to housekeeping to kitchen staff, were very friendly and professional. It's a beautiful property with access to Cayuga Lake across the street via the state park, and just a 20 minute walk to Taughannock Falls. We enjoyed having dinner in the restaurant one of the nights of our stay. We will definitely be back!

Stayed for 3 days The view of the property is excellent. We stayed at Lake View building, Nice room setting and clean, the bed is comfortable. The breakfast however was not so satisfactory in the availability of coffee and variety of the selections. The fall in the state park, is disappointing though.

Our room, “Parkview”, was beautiful. The bed, loveseat and chair were very comfortable. There was a nice tv, and we appreciated the in-room coffee options. The continental breakfast had some good options, and the dining room coffee was fantastic.

Everything great. Only disappointment was complimentary breakfast buffet from 8 to 10. Get there before 9:30 or you will be scraping scraps from the pans. Attendant looked at them before me, closed the lids and did nothing. What was left was inedible.

Beautiful, perfect location for sightseeing.

The staff is friendly, professional, helpful. With a cozy bar area, a beautiful patio overlooking the lake, and clean, comfortable rooms, we couldn’t have had a better stay. This was a girls’ weekend but I’d like to come back with my husband. The food was excellent- the breakfast buffet was delicious and more than adequate. We stayed in Lakeview and the view from our balcony was gorgeous!

Hillside Rose Suite was perfect for our family of 4. Nice to have the extra space and separation for the kids. Breakfast was very convenient and good. The path to waterfall was perfect. The grounds of the main inn are lovely - would be nice to extend a similar private area for the hillside inn. A pool would be a great addition for something additional to do and help to support the higher price point. This inn served as the perfect midway stop on our way

Very nice property. The staff of the restaurant was excellent - professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The staff of the hotel was friendly too, however, we would hoped them to be a bit more acommodating or customer focused. After we brought all our luggage to the reception we were told that the room is in another building, 3-5 minutes away. When we asked for a dinner at 7pm we were firmly told that only 7.45pm would be feasible, although there were not so many tables occupied when we arrived. That's all ok, and we enjoyed the stay. However, c'est le ton qui fait la musique as the French say. Being a bit more sympathetic, friendly and less insisting makes a difference. That the location does not offer any drink options during the day when arriving early is not really a 4-star hotel like. The breakfast was ok but a bit of a contrast to the level of the restaurant food and service the evening before. The latter was top, with fresh ingredients, nicely served while the breakfast offered some scrambled eggs (ready-made, not fresh eggs), only brewed coffee, a sweet (?) youghurt etc. - in short: there is a mismatch. I hope you take the feedback constructively. Overall, a very nice hotel, an exceptional location, the room was great. Paying a bit more attention to these details would make the 4th star.
