Great house for family of 5 in convenient location. Kitchen fully equipped with anything you need as well as extra linens, towels, toilet paper readily available. The biggest negative is the lack of hot water for showering. Water stays hot for one shower at a time. Also the water pressure in master shower is actually too strong (may be a reason the hot water runs out so fast), it is almost painful hitting your face or a sunburnt body. Cannot adjust pressure. House stayed warm at night about 80 degrees for our stay in June and small box fans supplied did help although ceiling fans would be more beneficial throughout the home. Lastly, we were very disappointed that the Tahoe Donner pool that there are passes for with your stay was not open while we were there for a summer vacation! Pool did not open until June 19 which is late for the summer season.

Third time renting this Tahoe Donner home! Celebrating parents 70th wedding anniversary, this home is one level and great for seniors. Clean and very comfortable. Home has everything you need for an enjoyable weekend celebrating family!

Excellent house...almost 5 star

This house gets a 5-star rating for comfort, quality, and location. Kitchen was well equipped with gas stove, nice refrigerator, and good cooking pots, knives, etc., Beds were super comfy and master bedroom bathroom is upgraded and large with double shower. The second bathroom is small and nothing special but clean with good water pressure and heat. This property would be a 5-star rating; however, WIFI and TV are not reliable and dealing any issues was very difficult...via text only.

Love the location

Perfect Property, and located in the right location near local shopping (ie Safeway). The property looks just like the pictures. It was extremely clean, and had plenty of towel, and blankets. Property management was very attentive, and checked in to see if we needed anything via text. I will definitely recommend and rent this property again. Thanks for making our staycation pleasant.

Fix the door

Front door code did not work on two different nights. Had to be reset by Turnkey and still did not work. Had to use a physical key from the lockbox. No propane for the BBQ for the first night. Broiler in stove kept cutting out. TV instructions incomplete. Turnkey needs to have everything ready to go upon arrival.

Second Time and Will be Back

Great property, especially when you have a senior with you! All one floor and accessible. Brought my 80+ year old mom and she was quite comfortable. My teen son was happy as the property has wifi. This property has everything you could want, including great wine glasses! We love Tahoe Donner and it's great facilities for both winter and summer fun. We will be returning and booking this property.

Our trip was cut short due to severe winter storm. I have never purchased travel insurance before. This will change my future plans. We only stayed 1 of 3 nights. Total bummer, but I didn’t want to risk our safety. Otherwise the house was nice and the location was suitable.

Clean, convenient, comfortable

Having rented numerous VRBO properties over the years, this one felt a bit different - but in a good way. Most notable was the frequent and clear communication from the management company. They had a 24/7 phone line to address any issues that might come up. for example, we couldn't get the Wifi to work when we first arrived, but a call on a Sunday night received a prompt response and the issue was addressed in less than five minutes. The property appears to be used largely for rental stays, in so far as the amenities and furnishings appear similar to what one might find in a higher quality hotel room. Nonetheless, the property manages to maintain a 'cozy' feeling, appropriate to what one would want from a 4 - 5 days ski retreat. The property was impeccable upon arrival, easy to find, and easy to gain entry to - again, thanks to frequent communication from the management company. Could definitely recommend for a family of up to 6 people.
