Scenically situated on a quiet street in Truckee's Tahoe Donner resort community, this one-level home is part of the larger Hillside View Vacation Home, a property that can be rented as either this three-bedroom or a five-bedroom retreat.

And whether you're visiting Truckee in summer or winter, you'll be only one mile from the Tahoe Donner Golf Course, less than two miles from the Trout Creek Recreation Center, five miles from the shores of Donner Lake, 13 miles from Sugar Bowl Ski Resort, and just 15 miles from Northstar California Resort.

Step inside the plush and elegant living space to find a wall of windows that frame a stunning mountain view. As the snow falls gently outside, guests can relax in the warmth of the gas fireplace, curl up with a novel or a selection of games, or gather for a Netflix movie night in front of the flatscreen cable TV.

With granite countertops, a gorgeous stone floor, and stainless steel appliances that include a dishwasher, the full kitchen makes meal preparation a breeze. Mix up some homemade pancake batter, fry bacon on the gas range, and enjoy a family breakfast in the spacious dining room.

Just outside the sliding doors, you'll find an expansive back deck with views of the mountains - an ideal spot for afternoon naps and sunset happy hours.

And don't forget about the exclusive amenities available to Tahoe Donner guests for a small additional fee. Grab a bike from the house and ride down to the tennis center or the Trout Creek Recreation Center, where you'll find a gym, seasonal and year-round pools, a steam room, a sauna, and more.

At night, the Hillside View Home can sleep as many as six people in its three bedrooms. The primary suite has a queen bed and an en suite full bathroom with a luxurious jet tub for those sore ski legs. The two guest bedrooms offer a queen bed and a set of twins, respectively, as well as a shared full bathroom.

For your convenience, this home is also equipped with WiFi, a private laundry room, and a half-bath off of the kitchen and garage.

Thanks to its wonderful location in North Lake Tahoe, this home provides a peaceful escape for both summer and winter vacationers. Visit the exclusive Tahoe Donner Beach Club Marina at Donner Lake to find boat and equipment rentals just five miles away; you'll also be eligible for discounts at the nearby Tahoe Donner Golf Course.

And while you'll find countless options for skiing and snowboarding at Sugar Bowl and Northstar, remember that the world-famous slopes of Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows are also only 16 miles away.

Dock details: There is a private dock at the Tahoe Donner Marina. Please bring your guest access cards. A fee applies. Public docks are located along Donner Lake on Donner Pass Road.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
