The National Trust Georgian country estate of Llanerchaeron, just 2½ miles southeast of Aberaeron, can be reached from the town along a wide level pedestrian pathway, ideal for cyclists, pushchairs or wheelchairs. Just a bit further down the coast, you will find the seaside town of New Quay, where the houses cling to the rocks, and the long harbour wall is the perfect place to enjoy fish and chips whilst you try to spot the regular visitors of bottlenose dolphins or just watch the boats bobbing. Boat trips are available in season and offer a spectacular view of the coastline, and the bay is home to an amazing variety of wildlife, both above and under the waves.
