Disappointing. The bed only had a sheet on it, for someone like me that struggles without a blanket and not a single one available sleeping was a struggle. The TV - only a tiny 32inch. Could it be spared? I probably won’t stay here again. There’s is better value for similar money in Townsville

I have used the Holburn previously many times over the past 10 years. That is why I booked there this trip. I was really disappointed. The property is now very tired looking and in need of a complete refurbishment. My apartment had many cockroaches running around the unit so I had no choice but to put all food etc in the fridge at all times. Thank goodness there were cafes and eateries nearby. The reception staff seemed to keep strange irregular hours, so connecting with them was difficult. Also, read their cancellation policy. They do not refund. Overall, I would not stay there again as it wasn't a pleasant stay.
