Tourtour is a medieval hilltop village. Voted one of the most beautiful villages in Provence, it is exceptionally welcoming. The apartment is a 2-minute walk from the center and is located on the first floor of a historic building. It features low ceilings (2 m) with exposed beams and lava stone in the kitchen and bathroom; in short, local materials were used to give the apartment a distinctive character. Tourtour is beautiful in every season, but the “Fête de l’Œuf” in April is truly unique. It marks the official opening of all the restaurants, shops, and galleries. The center of Tourtour is car-free almost all year round, so you can enjoy strolling through the narrow streets and sitting at an outdoor café without cars driving by. In short, if you’re looking for peace and quiet, Provençal sunshine, and hospitality, you’ve come to the right place.
