I chose the property because I am a Hilton rewards member. It did concern me that the property was not in the central town area and this concern was validated by the lack of food options. The restaurant closes between lunch and dinner. The area to buy snacks had a dish that said croissants but during the three days I was there they were never croissants there and there were exactly 3 sandwiches for the whole three days. All of it was like a salmon salad. Coming back from a couple of my excursions. I wanted to eat something only to find that the restaurant was closed until 530. The staff directed me to the brewery restaurant two blocks away on both days that I went there they were closed for private parties during the day. The only other restaurant within walking distance was only open dinner so given this seclusion of the hotel, the lack of food availability within the hotel and nearby would prevent me from recommending the hotel to anyone else. Very disappointed.

Construction all day long literally just outside

Nice design on the outside, but I didn’t care for the room design. It felt like the bathroom was inside the bedroom, and not well-separated for privacy. The worst part is that after paying quite a high price for a room here, there was roof work going on literally outside our window (workers just a couple feet outside the window) from 8:30 AM to 8 PM. When we asked to change the room, they said they were completely full.

Grass roof and glass front blends perfectly into the culture and landscape. The room design and layout was a picture perfect environment with every useful convenience for a great vacation. Amazing staff gave great travel advice and went above and beyond to cater to my dietary restrictions. I have never had a better overall experience. The guest use laundry room and private rooftop spa were simply over the top.

The tranquility is a rare quality in a popular hotel. We spent three exhausting days of 10-12 hours sightseeing but we felt fully recovered the next day for a new journey as we were never disturbed by any noise or sound.

Overall, this is a nice hotel. The front desk staff are really personable and helpful. Our room was fairly small (as expected for a European hotel room) but it was clean and the beds were comfy. The sink/mirror is in the room and there are separate stalls each for the toilet and the shower. There is a fridge and an electric tea kettle in the room. The location is a bit odd… the only entrance/lobby is down a driveway from the road to the back of the building. It is in a more industrial area, but it is easy to walk into city center. There are also many walking paths nearby that are fun to explore.

Clean and spacious

A good hotel easy to locate, a fair walk from the harbour area (best food options). Spacious room with separate toilet from shower. Only niggle was no provision of a teaspoon; i borrowed one from the restaurant on my first day but this was removed by room service so i had to get another the next day (tricky to stir coffee / remove tea bags etc)

Stay was great , employees are great at there jobs and helpful and friendly, only problem I have is that should not have smoking to close to the doors, could be a designated place for people who enjoy smoking so it don't interfere with non smokers

Hotel is located in a business park far from city center. The restaurant is super expensive and super slow - we had to wait one hour for our dinner. The room did not have AC. The thermostat would not go below 22 degrees Celsius which is way too hot to sleep. We had to keep all windows opened and felt like camping outside with street lights shiny through and road noise. The hotel itself is okay but not worth the high price in my opinion.

Comfort and views

We came for a short trip to Faroe Islands. We wanted to explore the rugged nature of the land but have a comfortable base to operate from. And we found it in the Hilton. Located just on the edge of town with views to the sea and one tidal parking. But only 15 minute walk to centre.
