The hotel was in a great location. On arrival we were not happy with our room. Although we had to pay extra for the room, Victor and Akexandro were very helpful in dealing with the room change. We were given a complimentary drink when the room was being prepared.

Our room was cleaned very well every day. All aeas of the hotel were very clean. The breakfast choice is fabulous. Location is perfect for us, near to La Carihuela and right on the beach. Very friendly bar staff who remembered us from our previous visit. Also, Angie and Daniel in the Premium reception area were professional and very helpful

We spent an incredible week at this hotel in September, 2025. The room 2902 on the 9th floor with a balcony was spacious and clean , the seaside/city view was lovely. There were some nice benefits of being premium guests like a free mini bar, free lounge and private rooftop pool. The hospitality team at the premium lounge Rocio, Agnes and Daniel went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Love the funky design of the lobby too. The pool activities were a real fun especially with entertainment team superstars Carlos and Ana. We chose Half board option, €20 pp extra. The food was diverse and delicious, and huge props to the restaurant staff Noelia, Salome and all for their hard work. The Premium stay included free beach access and sun beds. I'd highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and fun getaway. Thank you Ocean House, hope to come back soon.

We booked a stay with a hotel affiliated with the Meliá group. Due to a mixup on the Meliá website, I booked this hotel instead of the one originally intended (Sol Don Pablo). Upon arrival, we realised this was not the hotel we had been conversing with. The rooms are not well maintained and overall the hotel was unsuitable for our kids. We paid for the full stay (8 nights) upon arrival but decided to check out the next day soon after. I was assured by front-of-house that I would only be charged for the 1st night if checking out early. The hotel needed Expedia to confirm early checkout. I spoke to an Expedia representative on the day of of arrival, who conversed with the hotel. Early checkout and refund of the remaining balance was agreed. However, after multiple confirmations (including on the day of checkout by front-of-house) that the penalty was 1 nights stay, the hotel has only approved a refund of 6 nights. We checked out on the 2nd day before 12, and I am unsure why we have been charged for 2 nights. Front-of-house staff were great, although the hotel wasn’t for us. Expedia have informed me they have limited power because payment was direct with the property. Overall, a frustrating experience.

I liked this hotel. It was nice and convenient. One thing, if you decided to go there use a cab. The parking was a disaster. Also, I liked the half board option, very good food.
