Hotel is in a great location with the most spectacular views across the bay. It’s comfortable and the interior is well maintained. The exterior and gardens need some love. Food is plentiful and staff were very helpful and friendly.

We stayed at the Imperial for one night and had a fantastic experience. There is so much interesting history in the hotel, we loved seeing all the antique furniture and old architectural style. The entire hotel was very clean, there was lovely views out over the sea from the bar and breakfast area. We would definitely stay again.

The Imperial is situated in an ideal position a 10 min walk from the harbour, our room was large and airy with the bonus of a balcony overlooking the sea. The staff were friendly and helpful whether it was reception or the restaurant or bar, breakfast had something for everyone and all eaten while overlooking the sea and harbour. It may need a little updating but it was nevertheless a lovely hotel and I will definitely go back.
