There are fine beaches to be enjoyed, such as Barleycove with its golden sands and turquoise waters, and the visitor centre and cliff walks of the Mizen Head, at the very tip of the peninsula are well worth a visit. Activities on offer nearby include golf, pony trekking, tennis, a planetarium and excellent walking and cycling, all making for a fantastic and memorable holiday experience.
